- Wait 7-14 days while I prepare your photos for viewing

Frequently Asked Questions About Family Photos
Q. What should we wear for our family photos? How can we coordinate our outfits?
A: I suggest clients pick a few colors based on shoes and accessories they already have and love. For example, your color palette might include children’s outfits with stripes or dots of yellow to coordinate with Mom’s favorite yellow scarf or necklace. If Dad’s go-to pants are denim, Mom might layer a denim jacket over her favorite dress or over their daughter’s outfit. Q: Where do outdoor sessions take place?
A. You decide! We can go to a park, nature area, or college campus that is special to you or your family, or head downtown for an urban feel. Let me know beforehand where you would like to go and I will let you know if any additional travel fees apply. I love to explore and include a variety of scenery in my portfolio, so I usually don’t add on additional costs unless your session involves extensive travel.
Q: Is there a limit to the number of people included in the session?
A. The package is limited to one family (parents and children), but feel free to include pets! Please contact me for a quote about extended family shoots.
Q. What time of day do sessions take place?
A. I love to shoot during the “golden hour”, which is an hour before sunset. This time slot varies with the seasons. Since the sun sets very late during the summer and early fall, this can be tricky for young children with early bedtimes! I will work with you to find a time that works for you and results in fantastic images, even if that means meeting early in the morning.
