Norman Family Photography on OU Campus
I am so happy I took these family photos just days after the October ice storms! Aunty and Uncle and their little girl were in town, so we captured some shots of them and of course the cousins all together. The fallen tree branches hadn’t started to decay yet, and I was able to shoot through leaves since the debris was still on the ground! This year has certainly offered opportunities to turn lemons into lemonade. I stepped away from most studio sessions because it is a tiny space and usually involves newborn babies. That said, my husband has also moved into my studio space to work more effectively from home! We managed to put our heads together and find a portable standing desk that can be moved when I do have a studio session – yay! All my props are ready to accommodate a few newborns due to arrive in June, and I have even added a lace bonnet and romper set to my collection! I’m excited to expand beyond beanbag poses for newborns and I’m setting up some floor drops and prop poses for overhead shots to capture even more newborn sweetness 🙂 I’ve enjoyed this time with family and catching up on personal photography projects. I’m excited to post some macro snowflake photos and my long-awaited Project365 images that I captured almost 4 years ago! But I am also SO ready to spring into action with the warmer temps and since…I am officially half-vaccinated! Be on the look-out for a maternity session at Will Rogers Park, and a few precious newborns. I’m excited to post recent work again very soon 🙂
