I was so excited to capture my baby’s new grown-up look on camera! True to form, I put a LOT of pressure on myself to make each set-up perfect…but things don’t always go as planned! I was particularly invested in the cake smash pictures because I spent all day making a cupcake liner out of candy melts and baking a giant cupcake. I’m glad I snapped a few quick pictures of her initial reaction (“For me?!), because the tears came rolling pretty quickly! Dad even had to smash the cupcake and smear some on her face to make it look like she was into it haha!

She isn’t as mobile as other kids her age since she hasn’t started walking, but boy can she crawl away from the camera in a hurry! I have a few tricks up my sleeves for kiddos like her…like putting them in a basket or containing them in a cute rocking chair surrounded by teddy bears 🙂
