Lydia Jane: Norman Newborn Photographer
I had my baby girl almost 6 weeks ago! I have been meaning to write a post with photo highlights from her newborn session, but life happened 🙂 Excuse my natural bias, but I have to say she rocked her session!
After experiencing parenthood for a couple weeks now I have a whole new appreciation for freezing moments in time. I really could watch her sleep for hours, but since that is not the best way to spend my days (or nights) looking at a photograph is truly the next best thing!I was able to use these shots to create a completely unique birth announcement! In upcoming posts, I will share the final design and a review of my new printing vendor (I LOVE them and I was VERY pleased with my announcements!)As a new parent, I also appreciate the features of this blog site! I can give the password out to family members who can then view the gallery of photos and mark which photos are their favorites. Then I can order prints or canvas wraps of those photos and surprise them on their birthday or an upcoming holiday 🙂 This is especially true for me since this is the first grandchild on BOTH sides (she’s kind of a big deal!) In fact, maybe I shouldn’t write that here to protect the surprise element…oops! You’ll notice Mom didn’t make it into any pics, but for good reason! I had a rough delivery and ended up coming home with lots of swelling 🙁 I think my husband is also a little intimidated by my camera AND I am super picky about how my photos turn out! Even so, I kind of regret it. As a future client of mine (or any newborn photographer) you might name any excuse not to be in the frame, but trust me you should at least be in ONE shot if you have the opportunity! Dad was quite the ham, however, and I enjoyed getting photos of him loving on his little girl 🙂
Wow! Mary, congratulations!!! What a beautiful little girl. I hope you and your beautiful family are doing well in Oklahoma.
